Summary: Starvation is a funny thing. It forces people to do things they didn’t believe they were capable of. When society collapsed, Hagan Wesson grabbed a backpack and wandered off. Life without rules suits him just fine, and in the beginning, there were plenty of things to find in abandoned houses. Five years later, most things have been picked through, and it’s becoming harder and harder not to fall prey to starvation. Which is why, when he sees Dylan, he believes he can trade some apples for a kiss. Starvation is a dangerous thing. It turns strangers into enemies. Dylan Hixon bought a cottage on the headland to get away from people before the collapse even happened. He never believed he’d have to live off the land, but he gets better at it every year. He’s working hard, and people always take, take, and take, which is why he won’t allow anyone to set foot on his property. He would like some apples, though. Hagan doesn’t mean Dylan any harm, and yet he threatens to shoot him every time he visits. Would Dylan allow him to come inside if he brought more apples? And how many apples does he need to gather to get that kiss?

Summary: For the first time, sci-fi and fantasy author J. Scott Coatsworth has brought together four of his sci-fantasy tales in one book: The Great North: Dwyn is a young man in a small, isolated northern town, son of the Minstor, betrothed to marry the beautiful Kessa in just weeks. Mael is shepherding the remains of his own people from Land’s End, farther north, chased out by a terrible storm that destroyed his town. Both are trying to find their way in a post-apocalyptic world. When they meet, their love may change the world and the course of history. Homecoming: Spaceman meets wolfman. When his own world is destroyed, Aldiss and his crew barely manage to escape, leaving friends and lovers behind in a mad dash for survival. When they awaken from deep sleep on Earth, abandoned by humanity five centuries before, they must quickly learn about their new home. Then he meets Hari, a human-wolf hybrid, whose people harbor secrets which just might cost them their lives. The Autumn Lands: Jerrith is running. Kissed by an elf, he can't remain in his hometown of Althos any more. Caspian still hasn't figured out why he kissed Jerrith, but he's running too. Since he was exiled from the Autumn Lands, his past has been hazy, and his future uncertain. When a stray memory brings things into focus, the two decide to run toward something together. What they uncover will change their lives forever. Cailleadhama: Colton is a trans man living in a climate-changed world. He plies canals that used to be city streets, earning a living on San Francisco's flooded verge beneath the Wall. Tris is an elf who goes through the veil on a coming of age pilgrimage called the Cailleadhama, searching for his brother Laris. The two men find common cause, and together they set off through a world transformed by greed and climate change.

Summary: Hunger is a funny thing. It makes people act in ways they never believed they would. Gareth Cadell always believed he’d be a winner if society ever collapsed. He’s big and strong, and he knows how to handle himself. He never considered the food issue, though. When things get too dangerous in the city, he leaves, but he hadn’t realized how quickly starvation would set in. Which is why, when he comes across Kegan, he can’t allow him to keep all his food for himself. Hunger is a dangerous thing. It turns good people into unpredictable ones. Kegan Ashida never believed he’d live this long after the collapse. He’s nothing special. He’s capable of killing if he has to, but he’s more likely to take care of someone than to harm them. It doesn’t mean he’s willing to surrender. He’s worked hard to build up his pantry, and he won’t allow anyone to steal his food. Gareth doesn’t want to hurt Kegan. It’s not his fault Gareth is hungry, and if he’s being honest, he’d rather kiss him than harm him. Maybe bribing his way into Kegan’s home and heart is the better way?

Summary: Have you ever looked for something you know is there but can’t find it? My name is Draxton Dubois, and I am a speleologist. When it comes to maps and finding what I’m looking for, I become a tire-screeching, hyper-focused maniac. I utilize my charm to get what I want. I know no one can refuse me when I’m wearing my sexy speleologist jean shorts, even if I wear flip-flops and a wide-brimmed hat. My obsession with my work leaves very little room for intimate relationships. But I will do anything to secure an extension to explore the Star Caves, nestled in the Cradle of Mankind, South Africa. With my grandfather’s map in hand, I set out to barter for more time. The plan was simple. Entice, seduce, and bribe the man responsible for my future. He accepted the bribe, my priceless map, but became a pain in my butt as soon as he started showing up at the site. “He can’t get lost, even in complete darkness. He possesses a unique talent. He can effortlessly navigate underground tunnels and cave systems simply by crawling through them. Once he’s outside, with pen and paper, he can recreate everything from memory as if a machine had scanned and recorded it. Draxton Dubois is the world’s finest cave cartographer.” Children of Anzulla is a crossover from Kashel Char’s New Beginnings M/M Series. Summary: "Hmmm, an alien, an angel, and a dead prophet. Welcome. We’ve been expecting you. Please come in." Operating a piece of heavy machinery, for example, a time machine under the influence of tainted human blood, is never a good idea, especially if my oldest friend and onboard computer, Lasitor, vowed to protect not only me but my bloodline for eternity. This is my story. If you haven't figured that out by now, I feel sorry for you and your parents. Anyhow, this is how I found my soulmate by accident in a time and place not written down in your human history books. My story comes with a warning label. It is a time travel, speculative science fiction fantasy—I’m spelling it out for those slow to grasp things like this. It contains elements that might shock or confuse you. Your human history about where you came from, and where you think you are going, might or might not be as you imagined. The explicit, graphic depictions of my love life and my travels are unsuitable for young, sensitive readers or anyone offended by gay sex. Thank you to the wonderful author who has taken the time to write it all down meticulously. Summary: Phoenix was becoming a pressure cooker nearing bursting open, as the sequestered group of savant scientists and soldiers in the glass-domed pods in Antarctica were buzzing with sexual tension. Brad McCormick figured since the limbic system associated with sexual desire is linked to libido and the part of the brain responsible for higher-level functions, like planning and thinking, he had a problem he couldn’t solve without his leadership team. To put it more explicitly, the men were extremely sexually eager. Unbeknownst to the threat of external forces, the new Phoenician code of conduct, their scientific discoveries of new technologies and DNA manipulations hold the key to human survival—a blueprint for a new world, where the old divisions and conflicts become nothing more than relics of the past. This is a low-action, high-science-fiction fantasy story with bouts of silliness, steamy M/M romances, a wedding, and a "Quik-Fix Hall.” Phoenix Code is a prequel to the New Beginnings M/M series by Kashel Char. It is a re-edit of the original published work titled Men of Phoenix, written by Stefan Pride. Stefan invited Kashel to co-author and update it with fresh thoughts, preparing it for an audiobook recording. It was re-titled Phoenix Code Copyright © 2022 by Kashel Char and Stefan Pride. With that scorched earth had come a final solution, the contagion. In a world where every breath was ash and disease, few survived. The Imperium hunted them, extracting healthy flesh to extend the life of the powerful. All the while, soaring unseen, the tools of an old order search. Hidden far from the sight of the ruthless Imperium, deep beneath the earth, the DIRE stations offer renewal—an exit from the destruction of the world. Those ships, like a phoenix, rise with the last refugees to bring them to DIRE, hoping that a keeper yet lives to hold open the only chance of escape.
