Eilir L. Rhys is a queer Welsh author from Ynys Môn whose work combines mystery, suspense and queer romance against the backdrop of North Wales. Their writing draws on lived experience to portray OCD authentically and challenge the common misconceptions surrounding the disorder.

Their debut novel, Tŷ Newydd Mysteries: The Disappearing Trick, introduces readers to David Stevenson and Siôn Watkins in a character-driven locked-room mystery set in the gothic Tŷ Newydd mansion on the North Wales coast.

When not writing, Eilir enjoys hiking, weight training and exploring the landscapes and folklore of Wales that inspire their fiction.
