The gargoyles have always been guardians, they were created to protect the citadel and the surrounding area from vampires. When one of their own finds his fated mate some of the other gargoyles dream of finding their other half too. Petro has dreamed of not being alone anymore. Of having someone to share his life with and give it more meaning. When he finds a vampire while on patrol he has no idea how much his life is about to change.
