Noble Bruno

by Sam E. Kraemer

What’s more important to a man with noble intentions—the fate of innocents or the love of his life?

Bruno Garvin is in love with his husband. Trouble is, Dominic Mazzola was never supposed to be his husband. Their fake wedding was Dom’s passive/aggressive way of showing his mother that denying Dom’s sexuality didn’t make it untrue.

Dom’s less than thrilled to find himself legally married to Bruno Garvin—who has disappeared—when he receives an official marriage license from the Recorder’s Office in Kentucky where they tied the fake knot with their friends on New Year’s Eve. It was never supposed to be legalized, but with Bruno gone, Dom has no idea what to do about it.

During his undercover assignment in the enemy camp, Bruno resolves himself that he’s going to try to find a way to win Dominic’s heart, but when the traitor in their midst—the man he’s seen meeting more than once with Francesco Mangello in Italy—is finally identified, Bruno is completely unsure of what to do with the information. Should he inform the Torrente family so they can bring the traitor to justice, hurting the man he loves in the process or will he keep the horrible secret in hopes of keeping Dominic for the rest of his life?

This work of fiction is approximately 86,000 words in length and ends with an H-E-A. It is book eight in “The Lonely Heroes” series. It is recommended that the series be read in the order released.

About the Author

I’m Sam E. Kraemer and I grew up in the rural Midwest before moving to the East Coast with a dashing young man who swept me off my feet, and we’ve now settled in the desert of Nevada. I write M/M contemporary romance, subgenres: sweet, low angst, age-gap, cowboys, mysteries, and military/mercenary to name a few. I am a firm believer that “Love is Love” regardless of how it presents itself, and I’m a staunch ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.

I have a loving, supportive family, and I feel blessed by the universe and thankful every day for all I have been given. I’m old enough to know how to have fun, but too old to care what others think about my definition of a good time. In my heart and soul, I believe I hit the cosmic jackpot. Cheers!
