MM Sports and Professionals Romance

by Lynn Michaels

What do you get when you mix a pro snowboarder with a music equipment salesman and his kid?
--I don't know, but it's bound to be a good time.

Griffin had no idea how hot Zane McDonnell was until he witnesses the famous sports stringer interview him. The snowboarder is charismatic and kind of adorable. When Griffin is encouraged to pursue the vibrant man, he decides to go for it—he needs adult fun in his life.

Zane figured Griffin would be fast and fun -- exactly how he likes his lovers and his life. He was wrong. Griffin slips past his defenses faster than the downhill competition at the X-games. His friends might call him Big Mac, but inside he’s tiny and afraid. Despite that, he's tempted to stick around and see what happens, but the reality is nothing is permanent.

Griffin's not about to let Zane take the easy way out. He can easily see Zane is making a rookie mistake. Will the snowboarder let himself fall for the solid father or will he blow his turn?

Chase bounced in front of us, still having energy to spare, and I held Griffin’s hand as we made our way to where we parked. “This was a blast.”

“I had fun, too.” Griffin squeezed my hand.

Chase turned around and yelled. “Oh yeah! Wait until you see the video of Zane screaming his head off like a band sheesh.”

“A what?” Griffin asked.

At the same time, I said, “I did not scream.”

“You know a band sheesh. It’s like a ghost but really wild and screams. A lot. And loud. Like it makes you crazy how loud it screams. Like Zane on the sling shot ride.” Chase pointed at me, his plastic bag of gifts swinging on his arm.

I leaned over toward Griffin. “Where does he get all that shit-talking?”

Griffin grunted. “Racers. But what is he talking about band sheesh?”

I thought a second. “I think he means banshee.”

Griffin’s eyes widen with recognition. “Oh. Yeah. Chase? How do you know what a banshee is?”

“Video games.”
