About The Book

High school senior Michael Sattler leads a charmed life. Almost. He has great friends, parents who love him just the way he is, and he was a champion hurdler until someone took out his knee when they kidnapped his boyfriend. Yet, Michael is determined to make the USATF tryouts in spite of his injuries.

Christy Castle is Michael’s entire world. Healing from years of abuse, his abduction by a predator has left him hiding a new secret as he tries to start his life again. Together, Michael and Christy work to recover from their wounds in time to make prom and graduate high school. To complicate matters, Christy is astonished to learn a fellow victim from his native Greece has survived. Christy will stop at nothing to bring him to the US to keep him safe.

But the prosecution of Christy’s kidnapper looms large in their futures and the struggle to return to normal only worsens. Christy’s past continues to haunt them and, when the prosecution turns ugly and Christy’s new life is torn apart, only their unrelenting courage and determination can save them from the nightmare that threatens to destroy their future together.

The Review

It has taken me a bit to start the second book of this series. Omorphi book one was a horrible eye opener to what brutality is brought against our young  with sexual slavery.

We who have children and grand children and our only worry is good marks for college and weddings and proms are a far cry to this world that actually exists Here and Now.

Our author is a crusader, a healer, a mentor, a teacher in these stories showing us the worst of humanity. But the story here must be told and I commend him, in the telling thru this series.

We follow a group of high schoolers who are like any group in USA. Michael and Jake are best friends, both popular in sports. It is not until Michael ‘comes out’ and meets Christy are their eyes opened to the horrors of Christy’s world.

In Tharros Michael and Christy’s lives have started to blossom, Michael and Christy are committed to each other. Jake is dating Christy’s cousin Sophia. Their group is planning for prom, there will be a trial now that the Greek families have been apprehended both in America and Greece. Hold on….with our author there is always something going on !

We watch the growth of Christy, being able to have a say in his life without fear, punishment, rape. The nightmares are slowly disappearing and then again more violence happens to upend their lives.

Mr. Kennedy these books are a gift. Your words, descriptions of the team working to help these children teaches us ….your commitment to telling this as friend, doctor, lawyer, lover is incredible…..

I have just purchased Elpida #3 and my hope is Christy’s friend Thimi who they have discovered is alive is going to survive as well….He is so fragile.

I am Gloria Lakritz/ aka grammy, and I am the Chairperson and Senior Reviewer for the The Paranormal Romance Guild. I am a reader of all genres and I love everything written. My excitement a few years ago, in meeting a group of Small Published and Indie writers on Amazon, had put me on a course to have them form a group for the benefit of their field. Here we are today, a little over 1 yr old and 50 strong. I am proud of them, and I think that we can grow and help all who dare to dream!!!
