I’ll introduce myself as just plain, old Ashley. I’m an LGBT+ indie author with works both self-published and traditionally published.

I started writing as a child, constantly creating worlds I could escape to. However, as a teenager, I was discouraged from writing because it would make me “a starving artist.” At that point, the term scared me to pieces and kept me from really writing for so many years.

The past couple of years, I decided I didn’t care what anyone said. The only thing I wanted to do is write. And so the journey of the author known as A. Fae began–which is the pen name I’ve written under for the past year or so.
