- Too Many Alphas
When Jonas comes to small town mountain Colorado chasing his client’s pregnant sister, the last thing he expects to find is yet another pack of werewolves and another Alpha. He realizes his client, Gideon, isn’t going to be happy with the situation, since he runs his own pack down in Texas, but then, Gideon never seems happy about anything.
Gideon thinks Jonas may be the least attentive PI ever, but that’s werefoxes for you, right? Still, the guy does his job and finds Gideon’s sister, so he heads to Colorado to bring her home. Things never work out like he plans, and god knows there are too many Alphas about, but the one thing Gideon finds up in the mountains is that there’s a fox he can’t seem to keep his hands off of, and that family of choice can be just as important as the one you're born into.

The cafe was almost completely full when Jonas slipped through the door. He blinked, his glasses fogging up right away. All eyes turned his way, which just figured in a town as small as… well, no sign had proclaimed “village of whatever” on his way into town. There was a bar called something Tavern. The first word’s neon had burned out. The cafe slash post office sat farther into the main street.
The whole place looked very Disney doing Bavarian village, even the seedy bar. The cafe, however, looked like a small-town diner and smelled like heaven on a plate. Sniffing deeply, Jonas identified fresh baked bread, lasagna, and something fruity. Maybe pie.
God, hello drool.
Jonas smiled awkwardly before heading for the only empty table in the place, a booth at the very end of the room. That worked for him. His back liked being protected by a wall.READ MORE
He slid into the seat, jumping when his cell phone vibrated in his front pocket. Shit, he’d really hoped he would have no signal up this far in the Colorado mountains. How many freakin towers could they possibly put up in the area above the tree line, which was all that lay farther north… North? Higher up? Whatever.
Outdoorsy mountaineer was not a good name for Jonas.
“Hello?” He kept his voice down since half the town’s population still stared at him from nearby booths.
“Have you found them yet?” The question shot across the phone line at him. Phone waves? Cells?
“No.” Jonas tried not to roll his eyes. The guy on the other end would probably hear it. “I think I have a promising lead.”
“You keep saying that.” Oh, growly.
“They’re running. That’s what on the run means.” The client’s sister, her new hubby, and their unborn twins were causing said client lots of stress. They’d left Houston when this big, studly alpha werewolf had lost his shit over them having babies together.
Really, wolves were so… structured.
Foxes were so much better at moving on, at letting the rules stay fluid.
“Don’t be an asshole,” his client snarled.
“Sorry. I respond poorly to growling and barking. I think I mentioned that.”
Surely that was the sound of teeth grinding. Jonas grinned, leaning back against the seat. The little victories made him happy.
“I will, big guy.” He wouldn’t push her to do anything she didn’t want to, but he would find her and pass on her location. Then he could collect the rest of his fee and head for the mountains for a week or two. Well, he was in the mountains. This was a nice little town, in fact.
“Call me.” The phone clicked, his client hanging up.
Mr. Gideon Fairview was a growly, alpha, rich ass werewolf who needed a lesson in manners.
Very privately, deep in his heart of hearts, or dick of dicks, Jonas thought he was gorgeous, and in deep need of a blow job or two.
