The Twelve Disasters of Christmas

by JP Sayle

How did Brad find himself planning a Christmas Eve party? A party, he didn’t want in his home. Can his budding relationship with Martin survive?

Brad has never had a memorable Christmas: the family he was born to made sure of that. With his first Christmas with Martin looming, Brad’s plans are blown out of the water.

Until Joe, Greg and Nick step in.

Nick’s need to offer friendship without the boundaries of his past opens Brad’s eyes to all kinds of possibilities.

Greg’s ability to love unconditionally allows Brad to experience what life is like with true friends.

Joe shows Brad that sometimes a little kink can be the spice of life.

But Brad has never taken again for granted. A witch, a car accident, a disappearing cat, a secret, a lie, an artful dodger, all work against Brad, Joe, Greg and Nick. Can they work as a team and give Brad the Christmas he dreamed of?

The 12 Disasters of Christmas is the fifth book in the Manx Cat Guardian Series, these books are not standalones, and need to be read in order to gain the background. It is an MM romance, with soulmate connections, voyeurism, hot steamy scenes, and ancient paranormal cats and a very naughty witch that likes to interfere.

This book has an underlying secondary story that is left on a cliff hanger.

This was one fantastic, engaging, snarky, sexy, hilariously funny, bittersweet, emotionally charged, powerful, grab-you-by-the-feels, keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat, fascinating, and awesome story. I absolutely LOVED seeing the couples from Books 2, 3, and 4, and watching them come together for the true meaning of Christmas made me smile. It's not all sweetness and light though because of the secrets, betrayal, meddling, impossible choices, danger, madness, mystery, magic, and mayhem. I was hooked from beginning to end, and read it in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. It's not necessary, but I would recommend reading the first four books in this intriguing series.

About the Author

Let me introduce myself, my name is Jayne, I’m a lady of a certain age (50 soon, bites fingernails). I am an identical twin, the younger one of course by 7 minutes. I am married to a wonderfully complicated man or as he puts it, off his rocker Rob. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary recently. I have one daughter and two grandbabies one boy and one girl.

I was born in the Isle of Man; this makes me Manx (not British or English). I moved to the UK for several years, and as a child, I lived in Italy for a while. But, the island calls to me so I returned home in 1998. I love the sea and now it’s only a stone’s throw from my home.

I have worked in the caring profession for 34 years and have been a hospital nurse manager, out of hours, for the past couple of years. I made the decision to work part time nights in 2016 so that I could pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a writer.

I have always believed that I could and would write a book, but life just seemed to get in the way. Until someone asked me the question, “What do I want?” The answer was easy, the hard part was making it happen. Well, it did and it has and it was life-changing for me.
