When a Gruff Veteran Meets an Irrepressible Rookie, Who Will Come Out on Top?

Chance “The Chancellor” Gerhardt – multi-time champion and respected veteran of the locker room – worries he’s entering the twilight of his professional wrestling career. All he wants is one more shot at a championship title run. Instead, his boss saddles him with mentoring a hot, young rookie, Devin Jacobs.

Devin has admired The Chancellor for years, and he’s thrilled to work up close and personal with the steely eyed older wrestler. But while Devin learns from his mentor, he can’t resist admiring the man’s deliciously burly physique.

Trapped together in the intimacy of late-night road trips and shared hotel rooms, longing glances lead to whispered confessions of desire. Devin would love to bring a little warmth and sexiness to his hero’s cold and solitary life. Unfortunately, Chance refuses the rookie’s flirting. After years in the business, he knows their careers will be ruined if their relationship is discovered by the fans. But Devin won’t let that fear stop him from going after everything he wants – championship gold and the man he desires.

Can Devin find a way to prove to Chance that they can have it all? Or will their shot at love be defeated 1-2-3?

Christa Tomlinson is a lifelong fan of professional wrestling. When she’s not writing, Christa can be found watching her favorite classic matches or traveling to live wrestling events.

The next morning, Chance moved slowly around the kitchen, getting the coffee going. He hadn’t slept well. His body had been happy to be in the comfort of his own bed, giving him a few hours respite from the aches and pains that plagued him. But his mind had tortured him throughout the night with dreams of Devin. Dreams that had him waking to find himself thrusting against the sheets. And once, he’d woken mid-moan. He’d choked it off, hoping like hell he hadn’t been loud enough for Devin to hear him.

After such a restless night, he needed this cup of coffee. And he needed to get laid. Thanks to the incident last week with Devin massaging his injured shoulder, and now with him under Chance’s roof, his body was wound way too tight.
Chance sat down at the kitchen table. Lifting the mug to his mouth, he breathed in the scent of the rich dark brew. Before he could take a drink however, he heard feet shuffling into the room. Devin came into the sunny kitchen, lazily running his fingers through his sleep-tousled hair.

“Morning,” he mumbled.

Chance paused with his coffee mug halfway to his mouth. Devin was practically naked. He’d thought those yellow shorts were tough to keep his eyes away from. They were nothing compared to what Devin wore this morning. All that covered his gorgeous body were a pair of skimpy sky blue briefs and thick white socks. Chance could easily see that he was half hard, probably from a morning erection. He stopped in front of the coffee maker, reaching for one of the mugs that hung on a tree next to it.

“I hope you have sugar and creamer,” he said.

Chance didn’t answer. He was too busy staring at the way the tight blue underwear cupped the firm globes of his ass. Devin started opening cabinets, presumably looking for sugar, when Chance finally found his tongue. “Put some goddamn clothes on,” he snapped.

Devin turned and looked down at himself. “Why? You’re a wrestler. You’re around mostly naked dudes all the time.”

“That’s not the same, and you know it.”

Devin braced his hands on the counter behind him, looking at Chance with a grin. “Why isn’t it the same?”

“It just isn’t,” Chance said as he lowered the coffee mug he still held.

Chance watched as Devin pushed himself away from the counter to walk toward him, stopping right in front of his chair. He froze as Devin swung a leg across him, then smoothly straddled his lap.

“Is it because we’re alone, and you want to touch me?” He smiled. “Go ahead.”
