Shire Boys: Ryan & Matt

by Susan Reeves

Ryan & Matt - Susan Reeves - Shire Boys
Part of the Shire Boys series:
Editions:Kindle - First Edition: $ 2.99 USD
Pages: 23

Ryan James is settling into life in the Tweed Shire. He's made his passion for working on cars his livelihood, and created a mutually beneficial barter system with his tap-n-go hookups. What else could a man want in life? Certainly not to set his sights on a straight-arse bar manager who makes sure Ryan knows from the get-go he's not interested. Nope, not worth the hassle.

Or is it?

Matt Davidson's life revolves around working at the local surf club, and looking after his beloved nan, Lillian. He's been questioning certain things in his life for so long he's almost given up on finding some answers. Could the tattooed ginger god who walks into his life one night help him out with one? His sexuality? It would mean letting go of so much, turning his life upside down, but the rewards could bring everything he needs to be finally happy, and living his own dream.

Welcome to the third book of the Shire Boys series, where life on the Tweed is bringing people together just when they need it, and changing their lives forever. The guys are in for a whale of a time.

I hadn’t done anything more than tap and goes since I’d moved south to the Tweed. Too much had happened up north to break apart any dream of ever being in a relationship with someone. But… being around Jeff and Heath rekindled some of those tiny sparks of hope that had been banked all those years ago. Matt would be fucking hard work, though, only just peeking out of the closet, along with God knows whatever reasons had kept him locked tight all these years.

Was I ready to take a risk again? Try for more than one night? Those were the big questions, the ones that had me fighting against my body’s inclination to be up close and very personal with his. He’d certainly brought out feelings and reactions I hadn’t felt in a long time. Maybe they were a sign it was time to try something different.

I needed to reflect a little, get my head around it all, let myself see what being in his space would be like. I’d see where tonight went and regroup in the morning. No point wasting any more time if it wasn’t meant to be, or if I was just going be setting myself up for hurt again.

I looked back down at Matt. “You know what? You owe me a dance. How about it?”

Wow..just wow. I absolutely loved this book. This is the first M/M Romance that I have read and I am now hooked. Susan is truely a talented writer and I loved Ryan and Matts story. It just goes to show you how love can really heal you and I loved how perfect they were for each other. I will definitely be reading Susan's other books, this is an author that you wish more people knew about.
