A powerful Galactic Empire—devastated by a mysterious plague—lost in antiquity. Terran Colonists—fleeing an Earth void of life and pursued by a hostile alien aggressor. Two young men--Terran Explorers and their psychically bonded, genetically enhanced Panther teammates, are marooned together on an unexplored planet when their ship is attacked. Injured and cut off from any hope of rescue, Jar'ek must save his friend and shipmate, Kallehn from imminent death. The Ranger team will need to use every bit of knowledge and skill they possess if they want to survive.
Unknown to the Ranger Team, this Planet is not as uninhabited as their surveys had indicated. Something else is there…. Something old beyond counting—watching—waiting—judging them. When Jar'ek and his team set foot on Jaden-325-4, they set into motion a future they know nothing about—yet may shake the very foundations of civilization.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The story and characters are wonderfully constructed. The editing is excellent, with no errors to distract the reader.the plot moves quickly without overburdened development, but sufficient explanation to satisfy. I really enjoy how the interpersonal relationships are explored so casually without being forced. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the story and characters, and I'm very excited to see what happens next. What I really enjoyed, were gay lead characters who did NOT have pornographic sex scenes. They really didn't have sex scenes at all. I never needs full on sex scenes gay or straight in sci-fi novels. Romance, some. Affection sure, but not straight up vulgar sex. Too many "gay" scifi books go this route. Hopefully the writer will continue to steer clear of this in the future. That said, there were some moments of dialogue that were cringe worthy and I really didn't care or the way the writer listed the character and this showed us what they are saying. It's a book not a play. I would have removed a 1/2 star for this as it's mildly distracting but did not ruin the book for me. If anyone can recommend other books like this. Positive gay characters, space oriented and no vulgar sex scenes, I would appreciate it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters are thoughtfully and carefully presented and easy to accept. I became emotionally attached to the major players right from the beginning. Kudos to this new author! I am waiting with bated breath for the next installment. I most definitely recommend this novel to anyone who likes Science Fiction

When starting reading Seed of Harmony I did so on recommendation of an other author. Due to the blurb I had some expectations about this book.
However, it was so much more than I would have imagined.
Arthur is taking his time in building up the world of the Harmonic Empire and spinning the tale of Kallehn and Ja'rek. But never does the story stop being entertaining. From the relationship between Ja'rek and Kallehn to the relationship between the seed and Ja'rek it is one continuous roller coaster ride. I did manage to stop reading this book, meaning that dinner was just a sandwich with PBJ.
If you like Science Fiction this book is definitely worth wile!
For me a 5 star rating.
Looking forward to the next installment 🙂
Thoroughly enjoyed. Story was well put together, fast paced, and logically easy to follow. Personally did not care for homosexual slant, but story was so well done I ignored this aspect and still feel a 5-star rating appropriate.
