Music brings them together. Will family tear them apart?
Cheyenne is a half-human incubus whose star is on the rise in the Unakite City rock scene. Obscuring his identity is the only way to keep his kids—the first incubi children born in decades—out of the clutches of the royal family—his family.
Alexander's future is all set—finish law school, join the family firm, and marry someone who'd be good for business. Not that he has a say in any of it. He's barely met the woman his father expects him to marry. Keeping the peace is his priority. Until he meets Cheyenne.
One thwarts his family's savage plan by denying who he is.
The other keeps his family placated by hiding who he wants.
If they risk their truths, can they save Cheyenne's children, together?
House of the Rising Son is the first book in the LGBTQIA+ urban fantasy series Living After Midnight. Warning: This book features quirky supernatural creatures, a Thanksgiving dinner that makes the Inquisition look like a tea party, and an incubus that will rock your world.

Once I opened House of the Rising Son, I fell in love with the characters, all of whom are strange in their own individual ways. They are also witty and funny and appealing. Oh, and incidentally, Incubi are also very sexy, which is part of their Power....
House of the Rising Son is all about sex and violence and rock and roll and characters that touch your heart. I'm so glad I broke out of my comfort zone to read it.
