Why does he want to be a “boy” to a man twenty years his senior? A man who is so much more than big and burly. Is he a Daddy or a Dom?

Adam Grainger learnt the hard way that coming from an affluent family does not guarantee love or affection. It makes him doubt anyone could ever love him.

That is until Carl.

Carl showing him the darker pleasures in life leaves Adam revelling in the true meaning of letting go.

Carl standing up for him allows Adam’s need for a “Daddy” to surface.

But too many secrets and a driving force to not submit might prevent Adam from gaining what he never knew he craved: a Dom Daddy.

Dominated but not Subdued is the second book in the La Trattoria Di Amore series and can be read as a standalone. It is M/M romance with Daddy kink, aspects of BDSM play, an age gap, and a Dom Daddy who needs a strong boy to keep him on his toe

This is the second book in this series and definitely my favourite out of the two.

Adam made me laugh in the beginning as he plays Carl at his own game. The sexual tension was built up perfectly. The lust, hunger and desire fiercely burning between the two left me feeling hot and flustered. Adam wasn’t a typical submissive - he wanted to be dominated without being subservient. Was Carl up for the challenge?

There was more BDSM in this book than the last. Carl’s Dom side was explored well without being overbearing. There was spanking, paddling, orgasm denial and bondage etc.

I was cheering Carl on when he grabbed hold of Adam’s dad and put him in his rightful place. When Carl got all growly, jealous and possessive over Gabrielle touching Adam - damn what more can I say except it was sexy as hell.

Richie made me laugh when he accompanied Adam to the Play Room. He went from clinging to Adam to nearly climbing him like a tree lol. Poor Richie’s eyes popped out when Nathan approached them.

This was a great read from start to finish and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

About the Author

Let me introduce myself, my name is Jayne, I’m a lady of a certain age (50 soon, bites fingernails). I am an identical twin, the younger one of course by 7 minutes. I am married to a wonderfully complicated man or as he puts it, off his rocker Rob. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary recently. I have one daughter and two grandbabies one boy and one girl.

I was born in the Isle of Man; this makes me Manx (not British or English). I moved to the UK for several years, and as a child, I lived in Italy for a while. But, the island calls to me so I returned home in 1998. I love the sea and now it’s only a stone’s throw from my home.

I have worked in the caring profession for 34 years and have been a hospital nurse manager, out of hours, for the past couple of years. I made the decision to work part time nights in 2016 so that I could pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a writer.

I have always believed that I could and would write a book, but life just seemed to get in the way. Until someone asked me the question, “What do I want?” The answer was easy, the hard part was making it happen. Well, it did and it has and it was life-changing for me.
