Finally, at Nao’s penthouse, Seth unlocked the door. When he placed Nao down, he expected him to change back, but he didn’t. Instead, he cleaned his fur with a paw, wiping his face and sides.

Seth took off his shoes and hung Nao’s purse from the hat stand—the typical place Nao left it. Nao the cat, pranced into the room before he meowed over to Seth.

“All right, guess you’re not changing back.”

Nao tilted his head. Slowly, his eyes squinted into slits before he blinked. Seth coined that behavior the love blink. It was a way cats showed affection.

Nao gave a small sneeze.

“Well, you’re going to catch a cold—”

Nao began to transform, tail and claws retracting. It happened so swiftly the motions blurred. He remembered the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast. It looked a little like that transformation, only much faster. Nao’s shift into cat form had been even quicker. He simply shook his head, and fur covered his body as he shrank into a kitty. Perhaps going from small to large made it easier to spot the stages.

Nao stood naked in front of him. Droplets from his wet hair fell onto his shoulders and rolled down his firm, hairless chest. His body was slender yet muscular. The pearly atmospheric lighting made his skin appear soft.

“N-Nao.” Seth couldn’t tear his gaze away.

Nao’s smile grew hesitant but warm. Comfortable. “Sorry, sorta forgot I was naked.”

Seth smirked. “Did you now?”

“All right. Maybe I didn’t.” Nao’s mouth curved in a grin.

Seth approached him until they stood face to face. He wasn’t drastically taller, but their close proximity emphasized their size difference. He reached out and traced the curve of Nao’s face.

“We should stop,” Nao whispered.

Seth nodded, moving in closer. Tilting Nao’s chin up, he claimed his lips. When Nao moaned, Seth lost all rational thought. He pulled Nao close and kissed him hungrily. Nao wrapped his leg around him and shoved Seth up against the wall, his hands all up in Seth’s hair as he tugged the curls.
