An MM Mpreg Shifter Romance

by Aspen Grey

Nothing can stand in the way of destiny.

Love at first sight. You know if when you feel it. Nothing can compare…

When I saw Jordan, my world turned upside down. He was sweet, innocent, and most of all, he’s my fated mate. But there’s one huge problem.

Jordan’s lost his sense of smell and cannot detect the truth that I know—that we’re meant to be together.

On top of that, he’s stuck in an abusive relationship he can’t get out of. But I’m not the kind of guy that’s things stand in my way, especially not when it comes to love. I’ll do anything to fix him, heal him and show him that that he deserves better. He deserves happiness.

He deserves me.

As our lips met, the Earth seemed to move beneath my feet. A fucking earthquake in Maine? Not likely. This was something else. This was destiny.

Jordan moaned back and arched his back, pressing his body against me. I groaned, in fucking Heaven, and opened my lips to slide my tongue into his mouth. But as I did, he twisted away and tore himself from my grip.

“No!” he protested, shaking his head. “No, I can’t.”

“Yes you can,” I told him. But my fated mate shook his head, snatched his mop from the ground and backed away.

“No. I can’t do this,” he replied. “I—I have to go. I’m sorry.”

He raced for the door, but I followed him. I reached out and snatched him by the wrist and pulled him back to me.

“What are you doing?” I growled. “Don’t you feel it? Don’t you smell it!?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about!” he snapped. “I don’t smell anything! And I’m also not a fucking cheater!”

And with that, he tore himself away from me, slid out the door and slammed it shut behind him, leaving me standing there in the back room with nothing but the scent of fish guts and cold sea water.

He was gone. He’d stormed into my life like a hurricane and then vanished.

Not a cheater?

His words rang in my head, leaving me shaken to my very core.

Did that mean he had a boyfriend? Just the thought of another alpha’s hands on his pure, beautiful body caused my hands to ball to fists at my sides. And why didn’t he smell me? What the fuck was he talking about?

Jordan was my fated mate. I knew that now, even if he didn’t. I had questions, and I was going to find the answers to those questions and make sure I never let him get away from me again.

Reviews:Patricia Nelson on Amazon wrote:

What does an alpha do when his fated mate has lost his sense of smell, doesn't recognize him, and is stuck in an abusive relationship? You get this fantastic, grab-you-by-the-feels, powerful, slow burning, engaging, heartbreaking yet hopeful, and delightfully unexpected twist on the standard shifter trope.
