A hidden secret with life-changing consequences…

Outlaw. Enforcer. That was me when I rode with the Red Devils biker gang, but those days are in my rear view now. Or at least I thought they were.

I always had my eye on him. Lucas, an omega who made my mouth water. But he belonged to Troy, the boss, who kept him under lock and key. But one night Lucas escaped. I bailed on the gang and moved North, and a chance encounter brought us together again.

But was it chance? Or was it fate?

Lucas is my fated mate. He always knew, but Troy kept him pheromone blocked to hide the truth from me. We reunited in Cliffside, pledged our love to each other. We had plans…

And then Troy returned and took him away from me again. He’s out there somewhere, alone, facing a cruel, terrible future. But I’m not about to let that happen.

I’m going to find him, and I’m going to save him…

Bred by Fate is Book 5 in the Cliffside Wolves series featuring insta-love, over the top fun from a fierce, dominant alpha, a dose of humor and a warm, fuzzy HEA. Oh, and all the spice you know you get from Aspen Grey. We warned you… 😉

Excerpt:

“Troy!” one of the men shouted. I heard a scream, but was it his? No. Troy was a badass. If a gang war was happening, he wouldn’t be the first to go down. But still, as I listened to the sounds outside, I realized that my chance had finally come.

I was already pheromone blocked, which meant that if I got away now, Troy would never find me—or at least not right away. I’d have a chance at least, a chance to be free and live a life of my own where I was no longer a slave to a cruel alpha.

Maybe Marlon could come with me!

“Don’t be stupid,” I growled as I got to my feet. “That could never happen.”

The sounds of battle raged outside. I knew I had little time to make my move. I shifted, took my wolf form and sprang at the door. The windows behind me were barred. The only hope I had was to smash the door off its hinges.

I hit hard but the door barely budged. A slight cracking sound but that was it. The impact shook me and I felt my shoulder begin to throb, but I fought through the pain and dashed forward again.

Wham!

The door cracked again but held fast. I slumped down to the floor wondering if this was even going to happen.

Don’t think! Just do it!

I sprang to my feet as the battle raged outside. If Troy survived, his anger would be at an all time high tonight, and that meant he would take it out on me. I pictured his face, his terrible sneer, plastered against the door and thought about what was in store for me when he returned.

No. Never again!

Summoning every ounce of strength I had, I backed away to the far corner of the room then exploded forward. I ducked my head and leapt forward. This time, I heard the sound of metal tearing and the door burst off its hinges, sending me tumbling out into the morning sun. I glanced quickly around and saw the two shifter gangs fighting tooth and claw with several lying dead on the ground. Troy was in the thick of things, blood spilling from several wounds, none of them life threatening. And there beside him was Marlon.

My heart ached as I watched him slash out and carve the neck out of a beta attacker, then sink his jaws into another. I wanted to cry out, race over to his side, do something, but I couldn’t. I had to get free. That was all that mattered. I’d been given a chance and I couldn’t pass it up.

I turned slowly, hoping he would see me and our eyes would meet, but it didn’t happen. He kept fighting. He had to. And I had to do what I had to do.

I turned my back on the life I’d once known, and ran. I ran and I ran and I ran until my lungs were fire, and then I kept on running.

Bred by Fate is the fifth book in the Cliffside Wolves series by Aspen Grey. Lucas and Marlon are HOT! Danger from an ex, fated Mate action, finding a new home and family.... this story good ingredients that mix well together to make one fantastic story.

I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
