Kyle’s best friend Marshall resurfaces and he’s in a lot of trouble. Can the men at Kiss of Leather convince a former Dom to take on the mouthy sub?

Master Derek and his new sub Corey have signed a contract and enjoy their first scene together. The love between them is strong and Derek is as protective of his boy as ever. The only thing left that would make their world perfect would be to bring Corey’s ex-Dom and abuser to justice.

The legal firm that represents Kiss of Leather is charged with hiring a private investigator to flush out the man who orchestrated Corey’s gang rape. Stone Manning is hesitant to take the job, though. He was once wrongly accused in the death of a sub and swore never to enter a BDSM club again. But he owes attorney Glen Sharp his life after the lawyer got him acquitted.

Their meeting is disrupted when Kyle’s missing friend Marshall calls for help. Master Josh promises to help the mouthy Marshall get back on his feet under one condition—Marshall must sign a six month D/s contract as a full-time sub and prove he can fully submit to a man as well as learn to respect those around him.

Stone Manning suddenly finds himself charged with taming the brattiest sub ever. In truth, the bigger the brat, the more his heart races with excitement. Marshall promises to be just the type of challenge to inspire Stone to be a Master again. As Stone learns more about him, he sees the pain that Marshall has always tried to numb with drugs and alcohol. Stone also sees a man he could love—if he can ever reach him.

In the meantime, Stone and his investigative partner, Chuck, continue to search for Corey’s attacker. The abusive Dom appears to have gone underground. But what they don’t realize is that the closer they get to their prey, the more dangerous he becomes.

“This will be your room.”

Marshall stood in the threshold of the decently-sized bedroom. The last time he’d slept anywhere so clean and nice was when he’d lived with Josh. Even his North Hollywood apartment hadn’t been all that clean.

Probably because I let people crash there all the time after we’d been out all night partying.

“Now that you’re in my home, one of the first rules is that you’ll respond to me with an honorific and in a respectful tone whenever I speak to you. Understood?”

Marshall met Master Stone’s gaze. “Yes, Sir. I understand.”

Master Stone didn’t need to worry about his tone for the rest of the evening. He was too damn exhausted to challenge anyone.

“Sir? Am I allowed to ask questions?”

“Of course. And I’m allowed not to answer them.”

What the…?

He decided that Master Stone was just enough of a dick to perk his bad attitude right back up.

You just got here. He’s going to mess with you. And if you fuck this up, you’re screwed.

Marshall sucked in a deep breath before he spoke. “What’s going to happen now?”

“There are clean towels in the guest bath. You’re going to take a shower then go to bed. I’ll get you an extra pair of my pajamas, but they’ll be quite loose on you.”

Yeah, big guy. I noticed how large and muscled you are. No need to point it out.

Master Stone continued, “We’ll make replenishing your wardrobe one of our priorities for tomorrow. Josh assigned you an allowance which I’ll control.”

Of course you will.

Master Stone gazed down at him in a distinctly uncomfortable way. It wasn’t that he hadn’t experienced men staring at him so intensely, been a Dom’s entire focus. It was just that it was always because they’d wanted to fuck or beat him—not because they were concerned about his clothing choices.

“Hmm.” Master Stone still examined him as if he were a bug. “I seem to recall someone leaving behind some pajamas that are a smaller size. I think I know where they are.”

How sweet. An ex-lovers cast-offs. No thanks.

“Don’t trouble yourself.” He favored Stone with a sultry gaze. “I sleep naked.”

“Okay. Then I’ll say good night. If you need anything, I’m right here in this bedroom.” Master Stone indicated to the door at the end of the hall. “I assume you know how to operate a coffee machine?”

Marshall thought he might’ve missed something between the part where he was supposed to rattle Master Stone by saying that he slept naked—yet they’d somehow ended up at whether or not Marshall could make coffee. Things were off to a bewildering start.

“Yes. I can operate most household appliances.”

“That’s reassuring. If there are any you need help in understanding, let me know.”

Marshall dug his ragged fingernails into his palms. “I will.”

Stone held his gaze, never flinching. “I will what?”

Marshall pressed his lips together before answering. “I will. Sir.”

“Good boy.”

There was one brief, terrifying moment where Marshall’s voice almost caught on a sob. Master Stone had said it with such sincerity. Yet he knew he didn’t deserve it. All those times Josh had said the same two words to him, he’d likely really meant them. And it had washed right off Marshall’s back as if it were nothing. Then other men had used it as part of a scene. But it had never felt real. It was then that he’d known how precious a phrase it’d been when Josh would say it.

“Are you okay, boy?”

“Yes, Sir. Sorry. It’s been a long day and I’m very tired.”

And I need a drink. And a toke. A tab of Ecstasy perhaps?

He’d seen Josh take Master Stone aside and talk to him for a while before he’d been sent away with his new jailer. Even if he hadn’t witnessed that, he knew none of his dirty secrets would be safe from his new Master.

Master Stone nodded. “I imagine you are. And we also need to take you to the doctor tomorrow, set your schedule and go over your contract.” Master Stone narrowed his eyes at Marshall. “You need as much rest as you can get.” His voice had been softer, almost compassionate. Then he was back to business. “We’ll worry about what your schedule will comprise of after you’ve visited the doctor. But I brought up the coffee machine in case you were up before me. Please feel free to help yourself to anything in the kitchen.”

Marshall screwed up his nose. He hated doctors. He sucked in a sharp breath as his chin was grabbed, held still between strong fingers. Master Stone forced his head up until their eyes met.

“I’m going to be very tough on you, Marshall. But you’re going to learn to respect others, embrace your submission and discover that you’re a wonderful human being who deserves to be loved for who he is on the inside. Not just because you’re so beautiful on the outside.”

To his horror, his eyes filled with water. He blinked, the tears tumbling out and sliding down his cheeks. He averted his gaze, humiliated. Master Stone let him go.

“Sleep well, boy. Remember, I’m right down the hall if you need me. I’ll see you in the morning.”

“Yes, Sir.”

Bondage Rescue by Morticia Knight is the third book in the Bondage Rescue series and should be read in order. We have some old friends that show up again in this book. Also there is a bad guy that we have met before and you realize just how awful he is when you have read the whole series.
Corey has been abused by his former Master. Derek his new Master has done a lot to bring Corey back to the sweet playful Sub he was before he was abused, but there is a lot of lingering damage that still has to heal. He has nightmares regularly.
Stone used to be a Dom but he was falsely accused of killing his Sub. Now he is a lawyer he is helping the men with the legal issues, and he finds the brattiest Sub ever in desperate need of a Master.
There are many layers to this book, as you can see there are more than one love story going on, and there is residual story lines being resolved. I liked this one because it really ties the series together. Allowing us views of new and old relationships that are forming. I also love the ending to this story. I cannot wait for more from this great and emotionally charged series.

Marshall is a brat. In an epic fit of bratty-ness he leaves his job, his friends and falls into to a deep hole of partying, drinking and some drug use. When he is arrested he calls the only person he can think might care, his old Master, Josh. Master Josh as part of bailing Marshall out set the ground rule that Marshall needs to learn to submit. Master Stone has been out of the lifestyle for years, ever since he was accused of a horrible crime. He’s innocent, but doesn’t want to deal with the looks, the whispers or the questions. He’s been asked to investigate the Dom who broke and abused Corey from the previous book. Master Stone thought he was over the need to have a sub of his own until he sees the real Marshall, the one hiding behind the brat behavior.

This book has everything that I expect from a Morticia Knight story. There are great characters, who engage your emotions. I love watching Marshall realize his worth and gain his confidence. Master Stone needs to reconnect with the life he’d thought was over. There is the journey that Marshall takes as he grows as a person, with Master Stone’s help. There is the suspense, as all of the Masters and Subs work together to find the man who abused Corey. This is book three; you do need to have read the other stories first. Each one sets up the relationships found in next book as well as sets up the story line that moves from story to story.
I love this series and I can’t wait to read the next one.

This book was such a awesome addition to this series!

Kyle's best friend Marshall resurfaces and is in a lot of trouble. Will Master Derek take on a mouthy sub.

To start of this review I have to say I loved these two men together. Marshall and his snarkiness and Derek and his calmness and his protectiveness.

There was steam in this book and action too when the Dom's must save two of their Subs. You get to see a lot of the characters in this from the previous books in this series, which I loved!
I loved how this author wrote this story and these characters in this book! The way these men were together was just so sweet and beautiful especially how Derek was there for Marshall through everything and would not let Marshall push him away.

So I will leave this review with... I 100% loved this book and would recommend this series!
