How Not to Tuck

by Susan Hawke

An invitation given to a nemesis backfires in sexy, fabulous way.

Honey Combover slays them, honeyyy... and hey, she can't help it if her "equipment" is too large and in charge to stay tucked away during her drag performances, right? As for Honey's "other half", Larry Perretti is a large, kind man who excels loves his job teaching music at a private high-school.

Godric Sheppard is the principal of Grace Academy. He’s known for being a meticulous and authoritative man who’s never shown a hint of impropriety. In the two years they've known each other, the pair of passionate educators have never been able to agree on anything.

The two men clash when Godric tells Larry that he can't lead the Glee Club in performing Born This Way while dressed as his drag persona. He has a point, since Honey is infamous for her wardrobe malfunctions. Determined to show the uptight little prig that he can keep things, er, tucked away… Larry invites him to catch his show to prove him wrong.

After the inevitable untucking event occurs, Godric knows two things. One, Larry needs a keeper. And two? It probably needs to be him. Godric's firm hand and gentle touch is just what Larry needs. It doesn’t hurt that Larry melts a little every time Godric calls him pretty.

This 16k short novella is intended for adult readers only. The light bdsm themes, drag queens, and snake infestations will leave you smiling and begging for more. But what else could you expect from an S. Hawke book?

After greeting my fans, I'd completely forgotten the whole swinging snake incident when I finally broke away and sashayed over to Godric's table. My roommates were saying hello or some shit, but I barely even registered them as Godric stood and came to greet me. He came to a stop right in front of me and stood a little closer than a lady like me should allow. Shit, who was I kidding? Honey ain’t no lady, she’s a queen. And this man could grind up on me if he wanted.

All the chatter in my head disappeared as I blinked stupidly at him while he stood there peering up at me. The buzzing in my veins ratcheted up a couple notches when I noticed his dilated pupils again.

Godric's smile made another appearance as he lifted a hand to crook a finger for me to lower my head. Since he only came up to my chest, if even that far with me in these heels, I had to duck a little as I bent to hear him whisper in my ear. "How soon can you leave, pretty?"

I wanted to ask if he'd misspoken my last name, was doing a riff on it, or simply thought I was pretty, but I let that go for now and merely responded in a husky whisper. "Why, sugar? Is there a reason I should leave early?"

"Yes. Because you're coming home with me tonight." I shivered as his mustache tickled my ear, his lips practically touching its shell as he whispered.

"I am, huh? As sexy as I find it when someone bosses me around a little, I don't recall this having been discussed as a way to cap our evening." I tried to flirt then froze when I felt a breeze between my legs.

Godric shocked me by discreetly running a hand up under my skirt, gliding his hand along my inner thigh before he firmly grabbed the cobra. Ooh. Now see, this was why I liked shorter men. Points for height differences, heyyy.

I jolted back into the moment when he gripped my snake tightly in his fist and practically growled in my ear. "Allow me to be clear, pretty. This is going to be my toy from now on. You don't get to show other people my treasures, got me?"

His dominance was so fucking hot that all I could do was gulp a few times while my brain remembered how to form words. "I'll just…" Gulp. "I'll just go change."

Godric shook his head, giving my cock another squeeze before releasing it and straightening my skirt. "No. You'll come with me just as you are. Now go get your things, pretty. Hurry, don't keep me waiting."

About the Author

As an avid reader and big romance fan myself, I love sharing the stories of the different people who live in my imagination. My stories are filled with humor, a few tears, and the underlying message to not give up hope, even in the darkest of times, because life can change on a dime when you least expect it. This theme comes from a lifetime of lessons learned on my own hard journey through the pains of poverty, the loss of more loved ones than I’d care to count, and the struggles of living through chronic illnesses. Life can be hard, but it can also be good! Through it all I’ve found that love, laughter, and family can make all the difference, and that’s what I try to bring to every tale I tell.

I’m a happily married mom with one snarky teenage boy, and three grown “kids of my heart.” I’m more widely known for my mpreg writings as Susi Hawke; this new name is a departure from that. Whether written by Susan or Susi, the books are filled with that all-important love, laughter, and family I mentioned; the only difference is that this name has no male pregnancy. I look forward to sharing my stories with you, and to bringing more romance and laughter into this world that needs it so very badly.
