Blurb:
NEW RELEASE REVIEW: Fighting for All by Morticia KnightThe human and alien rebellion is at hand, but those who have already arrived at the secret military facility are without the one who has inspired them to stand against the Nall. Chris, the human chosen by the Alasharian spiritual leader, Sha Sha Ar, has been missing since the escape to the hideout. Those who have never seen Chris before, have only heard tales of his visions, begin to doubt his existence. Fear spreads through the group as humans and Alasharians alike wonder if they’re all doomed, that maybe Chris is a fantasy or has already fallen at the hands of the Nall.

Graham, Morgan and their Alasharian matches stand before the worried group to reassure them that Chris is real. They’ve barely begun to speak when they are forced to fight an unexpected foe. But before the final battle against the Nall and the Void begins, all must search within themselves to discover what part they will play to achieve their destiny—and to summon the bravery they’ll need to see it through.

Reader Advisory: This book contains graphic battle scene violence and medical play, as well as brief references to rape and torture. There is also a scene involving urethral sounds.

4.5✨s – One signature I like from Morticia’s writing is that her series books open with the characters from the previous books. If you’ve read any of my reviews from this or her Kiss of Leather series, you know I end them with a cry for more, so opening the next book with a glimpse of that relationship is a nice treat. Doesn’t stop me from begging shamelessly, just so she doesn’t forget I’m waiting with my hands out.

This series opened with aliens from Alashar invading Earth. The aggressive battle leaves the world as we know it devastated and a future of slavery for those who survived. Imprisoned with his cousin Morgan, Chris isn’t entirely sure what to make of the alien who rescues them from the abusive slave master, but somehow he’s still got hope. The first two books set the stage for Chris’s relationship with Lasar and Nary, the triad dynamic that’s key to future relationships in the series, as well as the mystery of the Void. An evil entity infiltrating the aliens, making them more brutal than ever. As Morgan and then their childhood friend, Graham, find their Soul Matches, they will become the foundation of the resistance and the only chance to save the world.

Everything about this final book, from checking in with each relationship and building their part in the final culmination, to the loss of Lasar’s sister, and the epic battle to victory was nearly perfect (coulda done without the Morgan scare, but that’s my nitpick). All the threads were pulled together and the message that love truly can conquer all was impossible to resist.

Do I want more? Always, but I’m in love with this collective happy ending.

About Morticia Knight:
Author Morticia Knight spends most of her nights writing about men loving men forever after. If there happens to be some friendly bondage or floggings involved, she doesn’t begrudge her characters whatever their filthy little heart’s desire. Even though she’s been crafting her naughty tales for more years than she’d like to share – her adventures as a published author began in 2011. Since then, she’s been fortunate enough to have several books on bestseller lists along with three series’ titles receiving recognition in the Rainbow Book Awards. Once upon a time she was the lead singer in an indie rock band that toured the West Coast and charted on U.S. college radio. She currently resides on the northern Oregon coast and when she’s not fantasizing about hot men she takes walks along the ocean and annoys the local Karaoke bar patrons.
